Underworld Edition Mordles by Toyfinity

Well I guess I should review these little shits. These are Mordles and they're brought to you by Toyfinity. You know, those roboforce guys. The mordles were little creatures from an obscure 80's toy line called Rocks and Bugs and Things. They're cute, little, unarticulated monsters that I had to check out. This is the Underworld Edition set. Each set contains 10 unique mordles. Many sets are still available on the website and you can check out all the colors. I got these with the glow in the dark set for some contrast. For about $10, you get a small bag like below

Starting off, this glum little guy is Serikachen. He looks pretty sad or just doesn't appear to have much of an opinion of you. Either that or he has to poop.

This grinning little joker is the Zerak. That's Zerak, not Zarak. He's probably one of my favorites. He's also been blown up into a larger version, which I'll look at some day.

This is Murlun. He seems very fed up with things. His toenail paint apps are on the back as you can see in the picture below.

Buttshot

This is Erixmes. He appears to be the tallest of the group. Oh he's so growly.

Next is Meh, I mean Caborux. He seems indifferent. Considering he was just another victim of being eaten by rocks or bugs (or things?) he looks like he just wants to get it over with.

Ok, this guy is my favorite. This is Grynt and he has better things to do than talk to you. He seems very unhappy with the state of things and could go for a few drinks.

Here we have Talmesca, who can't control his pent up teenage angst.

This is Rellun. He partied WAY too hard last night.

This chunky little guy is Vlain.

This is Yorzwurl, who I totally remembered to take a picture of. I swear.

Here they are with a traveler.

But they look so friendly.

The gang is just shorter than a Crayboth.

They're around the same height as a Mini Mushi.

Only one QC issue in the whole batch. I had one come out of the bag with his eye messed up.

For $10, these guys are fun. I look at them as great throw in pieces to go with the larger Mordles or Roboforce when they drop. Its worth it to pick up a set of these little dudes.

Kabuto Mushi Standard from THEGODBEAST

I've been following the development of the Kabuto Mushi for a while. 2014 hit and now here they are! Once these guys got here, I was really surprised by how many pieces each figure was composed of. The first production release consisted of a clear, reverse (mainly metallic green with metallic brown highlights), pearlescent red, and the standard version, which you'll see here.

Here he is in all his glory.

The brown has some swirls in it and it really goes well with the color.

The extra head can sit on the back as a backpack, much like the armorvor's weapon.

Stand off with an Armorvor. He's slightly bigger than an Armorvor.

There are SO many ways to assemble this guy. Here is one I fumbled together while taking pictures.

This is one of the builds THEGODBEAST had posted prior to the release. I keep the standard in this configuration. I love this one a lot.

Awe hugs. Here he is with one of the mini-mushi's that were also released the same night. They're actually still in stock at the time of writing this.

Obviously this is glyo's compatible. Oh man did this guy bring something new to the mix.

Nistuff's Custom Mantube

So this is a custom from Nistuff from NYCC. If you watch Vange1us's Youtube channel, during an interview with Nistuff, Mantube is sitting on the table. This is a one of a kind custom, so I won't be taking it apart. Nistuff has a disclaimer on his website saying these aren't for heavy play, so to keep my ham-hands at bay from scratching the paint, I'm leaving him the way he is. One of the reasons I'm putting Mantube up today is because tonight is an Outlander drop from Nistuff (linked above).

Mantube is made up of a Weaponeer of Monkaa and an Outer space man. There may also be a Glyos part in there or two.

NYCC 2013 Onell Design Glyos Dark Traveler Gray Galaxy

Hola, here is another Glyos dude to check out. The Dark Traveler Gray Galaxy was released at NYCC and later through Onell's store. You could get a version (very limited run) that was carded. Carded like, I went to the store and bought an action figure on a card. The carded version also came with the wax pack of trading cards/stickers. I had a chance to get one of these from the store, but passed to get a loose one, as I was going to open him anyway! My phone HATED taking pictures of this guy, so sorry for the lower quality. So lets get one with it.
